« The internet doesn’t exist. We thought it was made of wires and black boxes because that’s what computers used to look like. It’s no longer inside a browser window or floating on a cloud. It has no material base. The internet already dissolved into us, into a heap of effects and affects. In warped identity recognition, bling memory, loving solidarities and nasty breakups, secrecy and ad-hoc informalism, do-gooder corruption,
algorithms converting light and exuberance into capital and back. » Presented by e-flux journal.
« L’Internet n’existe pas. Nous avons pensé qu’il était fait de fils et de boîtes noires parce que c’est ce à quoi les ordinateurs ressemblent. Il n’est plus dans une fenêtre de navigateur ou flottant sur un nuage. Il n’a aucune base matérielle. L’Internet est déjà dissous en nous, en un tas d’effets et d’affects. En reconnaissance d’identité faussée, (mensongère), en mémoires USB flashy, (Google: voir Bling memory), en solidarités amoureuses et en ruptures cruelles, en informalité de façade, en bigoteries hypocrites, en algorithmes qui transforment la lumière et l’enthousiasme en capital et inversement. »
