«The future is not just about what’s next. It’s also about what we can build to ensure that what’s next matters. How can we, as resourceful, innovative, and knowledgeable local and global citizens build and participate in a desirable future in the face of global climate change, economic meltdown, political instability, and cultural divisiveness?» Yo!

Molly Berg et Stephen Vitiello. «The performance will draw on materials from the duo’s CD, The Gorilla Variations as well as new material related to Vitiello’s trip to Fort McMurray, Canada in search of the elusive Aurora Borealis. The combination of Vitiello’s undeniable talent for creating compelling sound works coupled with Molly Berg’s lush vocal elements along with clarinet and field recordings delivers a wonderful performance of playful sound that combine with processed guitars and other instruments.»

«A Machine To See With
(2010) is their new work for pedestrians and their mobile phones. Keep your eyes peeled. Don’t walk into any traps. Other people seem to be in on this. Mixing documentary material, stolen thriller cliches and the films of Jean-Luc Godard it invites you to become someone else. Step inside a film as you walk through the city, receiving phone calls. Are you the protagonist or a bit part player? Start making decisions and you will find out. The voiceover is on the end of the telephone line and in your head. For now you are anonymous, no one knows you are here. But it cannot last. People are watching and soon enough they will notice you. You may choose to hide or you might choose to step into view, undisguised and defiant.»
