Photo: Jimmy Robert.<\/p>\n<p>James Lee Byars: The Mile-Long Paper Walk (1965\/2014), Four in a Dress (1967\/2014):  Dress for Two (1969)<br \/>\nSeptember 7, 2014<br \/>\nThree of James Lee Byars&rsquo;s (American, 1932\u20131997) most influential performance works will be presented at MoMA, building on his long history with the Museum. The performances, held in conjunction with the MoMA PS1 exhibition James Lee Byars: 1\/2 an Autobiography, highlight Byars&rsquo;s innovative work in fabric, costumes, and paper, which include key performative dimensions.
